Many Georgia residents find it important to set short and long term goals in their personal and professional lives. These goals may take much time, effort and resources to achieve, but the end result can be well worth it.

Take, for example, the process of healing and moving on with life after one suffers a disability. This is, of course, a major event in a person’s life, and the individual often sets short and long term goals directly addressing the disability and dealing with related issues like how to go on earning a living.

Recently, this blog discussed how a person may be eligible for both workers’ compensation and SSDI claims when an injured or disability is suffered under certain circumstances. The individual’s ability to continue working may play a significant role in obtaining benefits. Accordingly, the person may set goals of obtaining benefits and eventually returning to work.

On the first step, it is important to recognize which benefits the individual is eligible for, and how to go about obtaining those benefits. There are often multiple steps involved in obtaining a single kind of benefits, so the person must know which steps are necessary and what the best means is of accomplishing those steps.

Our firm has significant experience in helping our clients understand what benefits they are eligible for and how to go about obtaining those benefits.
